Early Christmas Present???

Maybe an early Christmas present for me and Jada! I was thrilled that it has already been 6 weeks and she gets her cast taken off! The told us she would have a short one put on for 3 weeks but her bones had healed and looked good so she ended up with a splint instead!! Yeah no more wrapping a cast for bath time!

The before picture (notice the happy face).

The Dr. cutting.....

Jada's not so sure look......

So far not loving this idea.....

Much better!

This was her first bath after the cast came off. Her hand was so water logged it looked like it hurt!

Elves Christmas

My mom also took the family to see the Elves Christmas. It is a play put on by the pickleville playhouse (from bear lake) down at Utah State. We go every year and love it! They have a fun show that everyone enjoys! We also got to go visit with Ryan, Camille and family. The girls made a mess, decorated cookies and we took them bowling before meeting up with the rest of the fam for dinner.

Temple Square, Santa at Pre-school

Santa made a visit to Jump-Start Pre-school!

It had to be the warmest day something like 50 degrees so we headed into see the lights at Temple Square. It is always amazing to see how much work and the beauty that is there! Plus we saw lots of friends and neighbors and family that we got to catch up with. I still froze so we didn't stay to long.

Go Cougs!

Every year BYU plays a game at Energy Soultions Arena (I still like calling it the Delta Center better). This year was the best because they had 2 games there!!! I love it cuz it is so close and doesn't take up the whole day, plus the seats are bigger and more leg room! So bonus 2 games this year, next year I will hope for more! Kira got on the jumbo tron and was so excited. I was even super fast and got a picture of it! So Jada's goal at the next game was to get on the jumbo tron and she did!! Some neighbors saw it and called she was pretty excited! And I got a picture!! Here is a picture of Jamon's mom with the girls, our normal game day crew!

Can you spot Jamon?

Rockettes and Festival of trees

LOVED the rockettes show! My mom took the whole gang to go see them for their first time in Utah. We had a blast and loved the show. I think Kirsten was the cutest getting so excited to clap when everyone else was! Thanks mom!

Another Festival of Trees performance! We always love to perform here and had a great time this year. It was fun to have Oakley come see Kira, she was so excited! Jada did great with her arm. We even wrapped it so it didn't stick out to much :-%

Hawaii Oysters

We got the girls a couple things from Hawaii but this was my favorite. Little oysters we could bring home with the cutest little pearls in them! I always loved getting pearls from oysters when ever I traveled, so I was so excited to bring them one home!

Our first Broken Bone!

During our Hawaii trip we get the not so good news phone call. It was Jamons mom saying we think that Jada broke her arm!! AUGH!! What do you do?? We were headed back to our hotel and I felt like I was pretty calm! I didn't let the phone out of my sight and waited to hear any word of what was going on. While in the hospital they didn't have reception so we played the waiting game. Once I heard what had happen I just broke down and cried myself to sleep! I felt so bad i wasn't there with her!! Anyway, she was at dance and had a couple min. before class started. So she was playing around and was getting out of the tumble blocks in the little gym, her feet got stuck and she landed on her arm. Everyone keep saying how tuff she was cuz she didn't really cry (maybe they just said that to make me feel better??). Nikki came and picked her up and met Jamons dad at Insta-care. They did some x-rays on her and sent her to primarys. So Nikki being the lifesaving aunt went with Jamons mom up to primary children's to have Jada's arm looked at. They ended up putting her to sleep and setting the bones back into place. She broke both bones right in the middle of her arm. No surgery which I was sooooo glad! She was such a trooper. I knew she was in good hands and that helped so much!! Thanks Camille, Rand and Nikki!! It was hard to talk to her the next couple days. She was very emotional and was to figure out how she was going to manage with a broken arm. Jamon's mom came up with a good saying, "Remember your arm is broken, not your head. You can still go to school and learn". She was so sweet to deal with all of that while we were gone. Luckily for us we have such amazing family and neighbors that all helped out! Thanks guys!

Which color?? She told them Red and they had it out ready to go.....then being a girl she changed her mind at the last second and went with pink! After talking to the doctor and her asking questions of what she can and can't do they said, "we might be seeing you back in here soon!" A hopefully not but she is a little crazy!
