Kira's First Picture, taken at the hospital after receiving some official medical care.
***This is Jamon, I've been granted guest appearance on the Bell Family Blog... Hope I don't blow it!***
Looking back now I realize what an amazing little adventure it was to bring Kira into this world... Two years ago we experienced a Miracle in Rose Park. On our way to LDS Hospital, Tasha's water broke as I was racing into Salt Lake in our Honda Accord, I could tell very quickly that we weren't going to make it to the ER. For some reason I recall a lot of screaming and yelling during that little jaunt into Salt Lake. Luckily I had my cell phone and I remember the number for 911. We made it onto I-15 and only made it to the 900 W. exit in Rose Park, I don't think I obeyed too many traffic laws either, but can you blame me? I was instructed to pull over and wait for the ambulance to get there and have an EMT deliver the baby... that wasn't going to happen, Kira wanted out! Only about 5 minutes after placing the call, Kira was delivered into this world in the front seat of a Honda by her Daddy. Luckily I had enough athletic ability in me to "make the catch" without bobbling it! Using the shirt off my back to wrap her up and the shoelace from my Adidas to tie off the umbilical cord, we managed to have a healthy baby girl on the side of the road, an experience I would recommend to all Dads, at least one time at least. We have loved every minute of Kira's existence and give thanks to the Lord for the Blessing she is in our lives and the True Miracle she is to us...
Oh, and how 'bout that BYU / UCLA game Saturday, 59-0! Go COUGS!!!

Kira's Baby Blessing... Can't believe it's been two years already.

"Four Handed Naked Baby Hold"

We had a very difficult time choosing a name for Kira, This was our final list. We waited til the final hour before leaving the hospital before we knew that the name "Kira" was the right choice.

Jada and her new Baby Kira.

Kira at her "Pool Party" on Friday. She loved opening all the gifts from friends and family.

Birthday Cake anyone? Thanks Grandma Bell for help with an awesome "Butterfly Cake"!

Party on!

Birthday Morning... Good thing she woke up happy.

The Pink INCH WORM was a hit! He favorite thing was to have Jada or Dad push her up and down the hall bouncing up and down on the worm. What an adorable little girl. WE LOVE YOU KIRA!!!
