4th of July Eaglewood

One of our favorite family traditions is the Eaglewood fireworks! I never seem to get many pictures, but we have a great time with lots of friends and family!! The girls always hook up with Grandma Policeman and get a ride around the golf course in the golf cart. It was our first year without my Dad working there, it felt a little different but fun to have him come sit by us!

We hit the Dinosaur Park up in Ogden with Grandma Bell, Kami, Kristi and kids! Always a good time with cousins. Maya loved digging in the sand for bones!

Happy 7th Birthday JADA

Happy 7th Birthday JADA!

Jada decided she wanted to have an animal party for her birthday day. We found Sugar Mama Mayberry at Critters 2 go!! She was very interesting but we had a blast. Some of the animals that got to come were: SUGAR GLIDERS, CHINCHILLA, MADAGASCAR HISSING COCKROACHES, LEOPARD GECKO, HERMIT CRABS, RUSSIAN TORTOISE. Of course Jada loves to have a check-in table so after the kids checked in and got their Safari hats we headed inside to see all the animals and learn about them. Grandma Grace even made it to see the animals and we went to dinner with her after. Sounds like a day to me but Jada wanted to go to Boondocks for her Birthday also. She talked her Dad into taking her and they stayed until mid-night! Luckily for her she was about the only one and got to do everything she wanted for as long as she wanted. Sounds like a great 7th B-day to me! We love are Jada and are so proud of her and her accomplishments!

Dirty Dash June 2011

We participated with some friends in the Dirty Dash 5K team race at Midway. I ended up hurting my knee a few days before and dropped out (and after watching it so glad I did). We reserved some rooms at the Homestead with some golfing and made a weekend getaway out of it.

Our team was the Pink Nasties. We wore Legacy Dance bright pink t-shirts and tutu's....even the guys!!

The kids did the Piglet Plunge! It was so fun to watch them!

New Cabinets!

Last May (2011) we added on to our kitchen. I have no idea where all the pictures are, but we put in a desk and 5 other tall cabinets! I love it, can't even fill them all yet. Also we wrapped the island in black bead board and put some crown molding on and handles for all the cupboards! Made a huge difference in how the kitchen looks! Thanks Matt!
